Terms of Service

Note: This document represents Krawl's current service terms and has not been reviewed by an attorney. It should receive legal review before being treated as a final, relied-upon legal instrument.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Krawl mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and My Friend's Show LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of Krawl. Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Description of Service

Krawl is a bar-crawl planning and live-tracking platform. The Service allows users to:

Create and share itineraries ("krawls") linking multiple stops (bars, restaurants, and other venues) with walking or transit routes between them.
Broadcast their real-time GPS location during an active hosting session so invited participants can follow along.
Connect with friends, send co-host invitations, and track RSVP attendance.
Join organizations ("Krawl Organizers") that plan group events, and discover nearby krawls.

The Service is intended for social, recreational use in connection with bars and alcohol-serving venues. Please drink responsibly.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. The Service is not directed to and may not be used by anyone under 18.

Because the Service involves planning activities at alcohol-serving venues, you are responsible for complying with the minimum legal drinking age applicable in your jurisdiction when consuming alcohol. Krawl does not promote underage drinking — please drink responsibly and in accordance with local law.

4. Account Registration

You must create an account to use most features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, including a valid date of birth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at info@krawlapp.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to disable accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

Post, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
Collect or harvest data from the Service, or use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair our systems.
Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any content-moderation or access-control feature of the Service.
Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly authorized by us.

In-app chat and user-generated content is subject to automated content moderation that screens for profanity and objectionable language. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards, without prior notice.

6. User-Generated Content and Licensing

Your Content. You retain ownership of content you create and submit to the Service ("User Content"), including krawl names, stop names, descriptions, and routes.

License to Us. By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, copy, modify, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate and improve the Service, and to share it with other users in accordance with your privacy and visibility settings.

Your Representations. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you submit, and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights or violate any applicable law.

7. Live Location Sharing

The live location-sharing feature transmits your real-time GPS coordinates to users you have authorized to view your krawl. By activating a hosting session, you consent to this transmission. You may enable "ghost mode" to suppress location broadcast at any time during a session. Live location data is not shared beyond your authorized viewers and ceases to be transmitted when you end your session. 8. Krawl Partners Program

Bars, restaurants, and other venues may apply to become a Krawl Partner, which provides paid placement and promotional features within the Service. Partner placement is a commercial arrangement and does not constitute an endorsement of any venue by Krawl. We are not responsible for the products, services, or conduct of any venue listed or promoted through the Partners program. Interact with partner venues at your own judgment and discretion.

9. Disclaimers and Assumption of Risk

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Live location accuracy. GPS and device location data may be imprecise or delayed due to signal conditions, device hardware, or network availability. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of live location information displayed in the Service. Do not rely on it for emergency or safety-critical purposes.

Inherent activity risks. Bar crawling involves consuming alcohol, navigating between venues, and meeting other people in social settings. These activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and interactions with third parties. By using the Service, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume these risks. Krawl is a planning and coordination tool only; we are not responsible for events that occur in the real world during or after a krawl.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MY FRIEND'S SHOW LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 9, 10, 12, and 13 of these Terms survive termination.

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in New Jersey under the rules of a mutually agreed arbitration body, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information pending arbitration. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer-protection law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. For material changes, we will provide notice within the Service or by other means prior to the change becoming effective. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
